Mx One is a FREE Portable Antivirus Solution that includes an installer for USB devices. Mx One uses a very professional looking and intuitive GUI. Virus database and program updates can be performed on or off line. Other key features include live protection where the program is installed (stops viruses from infecting your USB device), the ability to scan a device's boot sector for viruses, ability to send samples of detected viruses, quarantine and of course custom scan capabilities enabling the user to scan remote locations.
5/31/2008 CAUTION: It has recently been reported that Mx One "may be infected" with a Trojan. We have removed the link to the download and at this point discourage anyone from trying the software until a definitive answer and resolution has been made.
Mx One is available in six different languages during installation and requires only 300KB for complete stand alone installation.
